- Preheat your air fryer to 370°F. In a mixing bowl, combine the avocado oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, dried parsley, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and garlic. Whisk everything together.
- Add the chicken breasts to the bowl with the marinade. Turn the chicken to coat it evenly. Let the chicken marinate while the air fryer finishes preheating.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray. Place the chicken breasts in the basket, ensuring there is space between them for air circulation. Cook for 10 minutes.
- Open the air fryer basket and turn the chicken over. Continue cooking for another 5-7 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- Remove the chicken from the air fryer and place it on a plate. Tent the chicken with aluminum foil and let it rest for 5-7 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute and the chicken to finish cooking to an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Serve the chicken garnished with fresh parsley and a lemon wedge. Squeeze the lemon wedge over the chicken for extra flavor.
