  • 2 pounds chicken wingettes or wingettes and drumettes defrosted if frozen
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
Seasoning Mix
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground paprika
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika optional (use more regular ground paprika to substitute)
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cumin optional
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper optional

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil, and spray with cooking spray.

  3. In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients for the seasoning mix. Stir well.
  4. Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the oiled chicken wings. Toss until the wings are thoroughly coated with the seasoning.
  5. Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are not overcrowded.

  7. Serve hot and enjoy.
