Method
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Open the can of biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into four equal pieces.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
- Place the biscuit pieces in a medium bowl. Drizzle the melted butter over them and toss to coat evenly.
- Add the cinnamon sugar mixture to the bowl with the buttered biscuit pieces. Toss until all pieces are well coated.
- Arrange the coated biscuit pieces in a single layer in your air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd; cook in batches if necessary.
- Air fry for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Flip halfway through cooking if desired for even browning.
- Remove the donut holes from the air fryer and let them cool slightly on a baking sheet.
- If making the glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth. Add more milk if needed to reach desired consistency.
- Drizzle the glaze over the warm donut holes, or serve on the side for dipping.
Notes
For a richer flavor, you can use a mix of cinnamon and nutmeg in your sugar coating. These are best served warm.
