- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Sprinkle the fillets evenly with 1 teaspoon of the kosher salt.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, and the remaining 1/4 teaspoon of kosher salt.
- Squeeze the juice from the half lemon over the salmon fillets on the baking sheet.
- Spoon the honey garlic mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time depends on the thickness of your fillets.
- Remove the salmon from the oven. Garnish with sliced scallions, if you are using them, before serving.
