- Cook the penne pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the ranch dressing and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly.
- Stir in the cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat everything in the sauce.
- Serve immediately, topped with crumbled bacon.
Notes
You can add other vegetables like broccoli or peas for extra nutrition.
