Ingredients
  

For the Banana Bread
  • 3 ripe bananas mashed until smooth
  • 75 g butter melted
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • to taste salt
  • 185 g all-purpose flour
  • 85 g mini chocolate chips
For Topping
  • additional chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350˚F (180˚C).
  2. In a bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Add the melted butter and stir until well combined.
  3. Add the sugar, beaten egg, vanilla extract, baking soda, salt, and all-purpose flour. Stir until the batter is smooth.
  4. Stir in the mini chocolate chips. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan. Top with additional chocolate chips.
  5. Bake for 50 minutes to an hour, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool completely before serving.
