Method
- Preheat your oven to 475 degrees F (245 degrees C).
- Place the thinly sliced apples in a small bowl. Pour half of the maple syrup over the apples and set aside.
- Divide the pizza dough ball into 4 sections. Reserve half of the dough for another use. Stretch one section of the dough and place it on a small baking sheet, shaping it into a rectangle. If the dough springs back, let it rest for a few minutes, then continue to spread it to the edges of the baking sheet.
- Layer the stretched dough with half of the shredded Italian cheese. Top with the maple-glazed apple slices, half of the bacon pieces, roasted garlic cloves, and chunks of blue cheese.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown. Drizzle with the remaining maple syrup, cut, and serve immediately.
Notes
This recipe uses half of a standard pizza dough ball, yielding two small pizzas. You can easily double the toppings if you use the entire dough ball.
