- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula, until browned. Drain off any excess grease.

Notes
This recipe is very versatile. You can add corn, bell peppers, or other vegetables you have on hand. For a spicier dish, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or some diced jalapeños with the onions.
