Ingredients

For the Cookie Crust
  • 1 package refrigerated sugar cookie dough 16.5 oz
For the Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
For the Topping
  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 2 cups strawberries sliced
  • 1 cup raspberries

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Mixing bowl
  • Electric mixer

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Press the sugar cookie dough evenly onto a baking sheet to form a large circle or rectangle.
  2. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Let the cookie crust cool completely.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until well combined and fluffy. Spread the cream cheese frosting evenly over the cooled cookie crust.
  5. Arrange the blueberries in the top left corner of the frosted crust to represent the blue field of the flag.
  6. Create stripes using the sliced strawberries and raspberries, alternating them across the rest of the crust.
  7. Slice and serve immediately, or chill until ready to serve.

Notes

You can use other red fruits like cherries or red grapes for the stripes. Ensure all fruits are washed and dried before arranging.
