Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup water (or orange juice)
  • 1 green apple
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/2 inch fresh ginger peeled and minced
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • small handful fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

  • High-speed blender

Method
 

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into a glass and serve right away.
  3. If you don't have a high-speed blender, blend the spinach, cilantro, and ginger with the water first to break them down. Then add the fruit and lime juice, and blend again.
