Method
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. This is your marinade.
- Place the prepared portobello mushrooms, gill-side up, on a clean surface. Brush the marinade generously over the tops and undersides of the mushrooms.
- Place the marinated mushrooms directly on the preheated grill grates, gill-side down. Grill for 7-10 minutes per side, or until tender and slightly charred. Baste with any remaining marinade during the last few minutes of cooking.
- Remove the mushrooms from the grill and let them rest for a minute before serving.
