- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In the prepared baking dish, combine the croissant pieces, diced ham, and shredded cheddar cheese.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissant mixture in the baking dish.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the casserole is set and golden brown.
- Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, you can add a pinch of nutmeg to the egg mixture. If you don't have stale croissants, you can lightly toast fresh ones before cutting.
