Ingredients

For the Mummy Dogs
  • 1 8-oz can Crescent dough
  • 3 slices American cheese
  • 12 Hot dogs
  • 2 Tbsp Melted butter
  • Dijon mustard for serving

Equipment

  • Oven
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Separate the crescent dough into 4 rectangles. Pinch together the seams to form solid pieces. Cut each rectangle lengthwise into thin strips.
  3. Cut each slice of American cheese into 4 strips.
  4. Place a hot dog on top of a piece of cheese. Wrap the hot dog with crescent dough strips to resemble bandages. You will need about 4 pieces of crescent dough per hot dog. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
  5. Place the wrapped hot dogs on the prepared baking sheet. Brush them with melted butter.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and cooked through.
