Ingredients
  

For the Drumsticks
  • 12 chicken drumsticks
For the Marinade
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper freshly ground

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the chicken drumsticks to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove drumsticks from marinade, letting excess drip off. Discard the remaining marinade.
  5. Place drumsticks on the preheated grill. Grill for 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally with tongs, until cooked through and juices run clear.
  6. Serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinade. Ensure the grill grates are clean before cooking to prevent sticking.
