  • 1 tsp Sazon
For the Sauce
  • 1 whole Mango Sliced
  • 4 tbps melted butter
  • 2/3 cup honey
  • 1 cup BBQ Sauce
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce

Equipment

  • Deep fryer or large pot for frying
  • Blender

Method

  1. Season the chicken wings with salt, paprika, pepper, and the egg. Let the seasoned wings rest for 10 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, cornstarch, paprika, salt, chili powder, pepper, and Sazon to create the batter.
  3. Preheat your oil to 350 degrees Fahrenheit for frying.
  4. Coat the chicken wings in the batter, shaking off any excess coating. Let the battered wings rest for 10 minutes before placing them in the hot oil.
  5. Fry the wings for 10 to 15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Make the sauce by blending the sliced mango, melted butter, peppers, and honey. Pour this mixture into a saucepan and simmer. Slowly stir in the BBQ sauce and sweet chili sauce.
  7. Toss the hot, fried wings in the prepared sauce until they are fully coated. Serve immediately.
