Ingredients
  

For the Au Jus
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1-2 tablespoons dry red wine
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • pinch kosher salt
  • pinch ground black pepper
  • 1 class Prime Rib Recipe or Smoked Prime Rib or Grilled Prime Rib drippings ensure you get all the bits + juices from the bottom of your roasting pan

Method
 

  1. Combine the beef broth, red wine, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a small saucepan. Add the drippings from your prime rib roasting pan.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer.
  3. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce has reduced by about one-quarter.
  4. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the au jus cool. Once cooled, scrape off any floating fat from the surface.
  5. Serve with your favorite prime rib recipe.
