Simple Watermelon Sorbet

This recipe makes a refreshing watermelon sorbet with just a few ingredients. It's a perfect frozen treat for a hot day.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups seedless watermelon cubed and frozen
  • 1/4 cup lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave nectar optional, adjust to taste

Method
 

  1. Combine the frozen watermelon cubes, lime juice, and optional honey or agave nectar in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender a few times.
  3. Transfer the sorbet to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
  4. Serve scoops of the sorbet directly from the freezer.

Notes

For a softer sorbet, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving. You can also add other fruits like berries for variation.
